Welcome to episode 013 of the Start Fueling Better Podcast. In this episode I call b.s. on sugar-free. And that is for a number of reasons.
The term sugar-free can be misleading and doesn’t necessarily mean what many consumers think it does. We discuss what it does mean, wording on food packaging, sugar alcohols and other things sugar related.
If it isn’t clear, I’m so over things confusing and misleading people. It’s not fair. Our system should be better than that. In my little dream world product packaging and marketing should be honest and straightforward. I don’t like seeing people get taken advantage of. With that said, this episode is to help breakdown some of that B.S. and make sense of the marketing and terminology used around sugar.
