GET REALISTIC, LEGITIMATE ANSWERS

About nutrition, wellness, weight loss and emotional and mindful eating...among other things.

With a focus on how to make it all simpler and work long term.

Real information rooted in science, research and evidence.

You can't believe all of the "nutrition experts" out there.

Do you find yourself overeating and then feeling sick to your stomach?

I've done that. A lot.

Are you eating "right" according to the "experts" yet still not getting any kind of results or feeling better?

Lots of people call themselves experts, but that doesn't mean they are. It's scary.

Tired of all of the confusion and want to be taught the basics of nutrition so you can shut out all of the noise?

That's what I'm here for.

I had questions but the answers I was being given weren't working.

(It wasn't my fault and it's not yours either.)

So I went and studied nutrition. No, not on Google for two hours or a one day certification. Textbooks, real research, years of my life.

Now I know better and never again will I put my time, money, or effort into listening to so-called "experts" and I don't want that for you either.

My Story

When I was looking for answers to my nutrition questions I wanted them oh so badly. Little did I know that the people I was getting my information from didn't know as much as I thought they did. I spent time and money on things that weren't worth it. So I went to school for nutrition. Now I want to help you get your answers.

Let me tell you more about it...

My eating first became "disordered" in college. I was attempting to use food and exercise to change my appearance. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was listening to people that weren't actually qualified to tell me what to do. They really didn't know what they were talking about. Their advice really made my actions and mindset MORE disordered.

Then I moved to Los Angeles in my twenties, and that didn't help things. I did exactly what the "professionals" told me to do. However, it didn't "work" and continued to make things worse. (In hindsight, I was probably eating "too little" and exercising "too much" for my body and my circumstances.) Eventually, I started to think a bit more for myself. That's when I decided to go get legitimate education in nutrition, fitness, and health.

It's taken years, but I slowly transitioned away from the disordered thoughts and actions. My understanding of health and my relationship with food, exercise and self is so beyond what I realized was possible.

The most fun part is that now I help other people do the same. (And it doesn't take as long as it took me on my own.) I get to watch them transform from confused and anxious about food and health, to confident and empowered and feeling so much better inside and out.
